This deep, rich record took the band over a year to record. John's world traveling inspired much of the music and lyrics...3 years in the making! Carried by Joel Bissing's powerful and emotional voice, the record touches special places within us. With the aid of John's sharp and distinctive guitar stylings, the album explores moods and atmospheres not touched on by musicians in a very long time. The band is rounded out by the drumming of Wayne Garabedian whose articulate playing and great time drive the band solidly from behind. A TOWER OF SOUND
John's signature guitar style is like a tower of sound that breathes life into nearly every corner of the record. His always tasty and distinctive sound development is reminisent of a cascading waterfall spashing on heavy rocks! John also mixed the album himself and songs like Land of Sprinagar..the epic tale of ones quest for spirit was certainly an engineering marvel. Joel co produced the record with John and it was no easy task. As John says "If we thought there was a better sound or way to play we would just do it over till it felt right, we had our own gear to record so we didn't have to worry about being on the studio clock....running out of money..all that..
